Gambling help in Greece
Greece's gambling-specific support is concentrated in a small number of specialist services. The best known is the gambling helpline 1114, run by KETHEA ALFA, the gambling and internet addiction unit within the national addiction treatment network. It offers anonymous information and support to people who gamble and their families, and can arrange face-to-face or remote counselling. Other organisations working on problem gambling include specialist mental-health units and peer-support groups such as Gamblers Anonymous. Licensed operators must provide responsible-gambling tools, and the HGC publishes a blacklist of illegal sites. Self-tests can help you reflect on your gambling, but they are not diagnoses; please speak to a professional.
