Gambling help in France

France has a well-established public support system for gambling problems. Joueurs Info Service is the national, government-funded helpline and chat service, offering anonymous, non-surcharged advice to players and families. For ongoing help, the CSAPA network (centres for addiction care, support and prevention) provides free outpatient treatment across the country, and some hospital addiction departments run specialist gambling consultations. Peer support is available through Gamblers Anonymous groups and associations such as SOS Joueurs. The ANJ runs the national voluntary exclusion register, and licensed operators must display prevention messages and offer self-limits. As with any screening tool, an online self-test is not a diagnosis; a health professional can assess your situation properly.
