Gambling help in Finland
Finland's national gambling helpline, Peluuri, offers free and confidential support by phone and chat, plus OmaPeluuri, an online peer-support service with 24/7 discussion groups, a guided chat and a group for significant others. Treatment is provided through public health and social services in the wellbeing services counties, and specialist clinics such as the Peliklinikka in Helsinki. Peer support is also available through Gamblers Anonymous groups. The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) researches gambling harm and will maintain a gambling harm register under the new law. For money problems, the state Economic and Debt Counselling service is free.

Public outpatient treatment for gambling problems through your local health centre or substance-abuse services, usually free or at low cost.
Debt advice
Economic and Debt Counselling (talous- ja velkaneuvonta)
Free state service that helps with debts and budgeting, including after gambling losses.
Regulator
National Police Board
Supervises lotteries and gambling until the new Licensing and Supervisory Agency takes over, and can prohibit illegal gambling marketing.
